Description
A peach-lover’s dream tree, the 3-in-1 Combo Peach Tree is an excellent way for those with smaller properties and spaces to enjoy three varieties of delicious peaches growing on the same tree, which is accomplished by grafting. This tree combines the popular Early Elberta, Hale Haven, and Red Haven varieties. There is no need for a pollinator. Reaching 15 to 20 feet tall and equally as wide on average, this Combo Peach tree is best planted in the ground; however, it can be grown in large containers or planters, but might need transplanting to the landscape if it outgrows the container over time.
Early Elberta Peach Description
The Early Elberta Peach is a classic loved for its large, juicy, freestone fruit with a firm, sweet, golden-yellow flesh that has a red blush over its skin. It displays beautiful pink flowers in early spring before producing a heavy mid-summer crop of peaches that are excellent for fresh eating, canning, and baking.
Hale Haven Peach Description
The Hale Haven Peach produces large, yellow, freestone peaches with a red blush and firm flesh with a sweet, juicy flavor and a rich, red blush that makes it ideal for fresh eating, canning, or freezing. It is known to produce high yields and has a thicker skin that resists bruising, and typically ripens from mid-June to mid-July.Â
Red Haven Peach Description
The Redhaven Peach is an ever-popular variety known for its red-blushed yellow skin and sweet yellow flesh. It’s a freestone peach, meaning the flesh easily separates from the pit, making it ideal for fresh eating, canning, and freezing. The tree is also known for its attractive pink blossoms, bright gold fall foliage, and disease resistance.Â
Also Note:Â As with all of our other plants and trees, all of our fruit plants are grown in containers outdoors so they are fully rooted and landscape-ready upon arrival.
Landscape & Garden Uses
Growing 15 to 20 feet tall and equally as wide, the 3-in-1 Combo Peach Tree is ideal for use as a specimen in sunny landscape or garden borders. It can also be grown in large containers or planters. It is also lovely for espalier (planted and trained to grow flat against a wall). It is a fine addition to the edible landscape, pollinator gardens, bird and wildlife gardens, and cottage gardens.
Suggested Spacing:Â 25 feet apart for space between trees
Growing Preferences
The 3-in-1 Combo Peach Tree grows best in moist, well-drained soil of average fertility and full to mostly sun; six or more hours daily for the heaviest flower and fruit production. Established trees are moderately drought-tolerant, though they will appreciate a moist soil when there’s fruit on the tree.Â
