Description
As with all the varieties in the Fruit Snacks® Columnar Apples family, ‘All Red’ is easy to grow and care for due to its narrow form and size to 10 feet tall and about 2 feet wide, which makes it an ideal choice for small spaces and containers, and its cold tolerance and reliable disease resistance. As with other apples, you will need to plant two different varieties for pollination and heavy fruit set. The unique and tasty All Red Apple features loads of pretty, magenta-pink flowers that are followed by red-skinned apples with red flesh that is pleasantly tart and tangy, with a hint of sweetness, making it a sour apple lover’s delight. It is perfect for slicing, and no lemon juice is needed to prevent browning. Red on the inside out, its tartness makes it an excellent variety for baking purposes. With a stately upright form, beautiful flowers, and waxy, dark-red fruit, All Red is sure to be a captivating conversation piece and edible delight as well.Â
