An offspring of the beloved ‘Rainbow Marcella’ Echinacea, the ‘Yellow Rainbow Marcella’ shares the same size flowers and plant, but changes things up a little. Where there was orange there is now lemon yellow. The combination of yellow with a bubblegum pink halo surrounding a bronze-brown center cone is truly stunning. The long-lasting flowers come over a long period during summer. Topping out at 18 inches tall and maybe 2 feet wide, Yellow Rainbow Marcella is a perfect fit for smaller gardens spaces and containers. A truly beautiful and captivating display in the garden and in fresh or dried cut flower arrangements. As with other versions of our North American native coneflowers, this one is an easy-to-grow and low maintenance hardy perennial that is drought tolerant when established and which deer tend to turn their nose up to.
