Yellow Ribbon Arborvitae (Thuja Occidentalis) – 7 Gallon Pot

A distinctive and improved Arborvitae, ‘Yellow Ribbon’ is excellent for providing year round showy color and fine texture in the landscape that will not go unnoticed. It forms an upright narrow pyramid 10 to 15 feet tall and only 4 to 5 feet wide at its base that is clothed in soft-textured delicate-looking fans of ribbon-like foliage. New growth in spring emerges orange in spring gradually transitioning to a lovely shade of sunburn-resistant yellow which stands out beautifully against the medium green foliage on the interior. In cool-winter climates the foliage takes on a handsome bronze tint. We suggest at least 6 hours or more of direct sunlight for the best and brightest foliage color. Delicate looking but very tough and easy to grow, Yellow Ribbin is excellent as a specimen, grouping, or in single or staggered rows for a privacy hedge where space is limited.
